The Snowman Ticket Prices

This heartwarming Raymond Briggs classic returns to London every year, and remains one of the very best family shows for young children to enjoy at Christmas. Ticket prices reflect its target audience, with seats costing from approximately £22 to £72 - less than average for the West End.

Offers are sometimes available for this festive show, and there are other ways to get cheap The Snowman tickets including reduced prices for children. We have provided all of the tips and tricks you need below.

The Snowman Discount Tickets

True to its theme, The Snowman is only in London for a short time each year, in November and December. This means it is often not included in big promotions such as Kids Week or London Theatre Week, although it is always worth checking; you may be able to secure cheaper seats in advance.

An easy discount that is not officially named as such is for your very youngest family members. Children under two years old are classed as babes-in-arms, so they will not need a ticket if they sit on your lap. Children aged 2+ will need a ticket. Family group tickets are also available directly from the box office.

If discounts are not available, check reviews and photos on Theatremonkey and SeatPlan for top tips about where to sit, especially for young kids.

When To Book Tickets

The Snowman is on sale for at least five months before it opens, but there is often good last minute availability across most dates. For any families who prefer to plan and book ahead, tickets may sell more quickly in the immediate dates around the Christmas holidays, and at weekends.

Ticket prices may be a little more expensive at the weekend, so always check every date you can attend for the best choice.

Top Tips For Your Visit

The Peacock Theatre is in central London, located close to many other top attractions for families including museums, Covent Garden and the Christmas lights on Carnaby Street, Oxford Street and more.

The venue has a cloakroom for small items and coats, but if you have larger items of luggage you may need to locate an alternative, such as Luggage Hero.

Refreshments, including ice cream, are available from the bars and at time of writing cost on average £4 per item. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and bottled cold drinks to save money, but the venue requests no hot food or packed lunches.
