About the show

Musical comedian Billy Bailey returns with a new show about “the gap between how we imagine our lives to be and how they really are”.

After wowing audiences across Australia and New Zealand and receiving rave reviews Bill Bailey’s latest offering comes to the UK. Following a UK tour Limboland will open at London’s Vaudeville theatre for a limited Christmas season.

The show promises Bailey’s "trademark intelligence and sharp wit" as he recounts tales of his travels including a disastrous family outing to see The Northern Lights and questions what the true nature of happiness is?

It wouldn’t be a Bill Bailey show without music and Limboland will not disappoint with Bill's version of the protest song, a country and western ballad played on a Bible and fabulously down beat version of Happy Birthday.

Bill Bailey is a comedian, musician and actor. Notable live shows include Dandelion Mind, Tinselworm, Bewilderness and Part Troll. He is probably best known for his reoccurring role as a team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and for playing Manny in hit sit com Black Books alongside Tamsin Greig and Dylan Moran. Bailey has also made guest appearances in Simon Pegg’s hit comedy Spaced and movie Hot Fuzz.

Limboland will play at the Vaudeville theatre from the 14th of December 2015 until the 10th of January 2016.
