About the show
Brainiac Live! sees the family favourite, science-centric TV series translated to the stage. Behold: an hour jam-packed with explosive experiments, fun facts and mind-bending hi-jinks guaranteed to spark your love for all things science. It runs at the Garrick Theatre for just four weeks from 31 July 2019.The TV show (2003 - 2008) was presented by Richard Hammond and, later, Vic Reeves. The show followed hot on its heels and, since its 2008 premiere, has been a hit with adults and children across the globe. This outrageous showcase of daredevilry has headlined several science festivals and has so far played to over 400,000 people.
Brainiac Live! is a high-spirited exploration of the world of science with all the boring bits left out. Think exploding dustbins, ultimate Airzooka and spinning chairs, all while jamming to Beyoncé.
The production stars science geeks Rik Warren, Andy Joyce and Maggie Frazer. Joyce also directs.
See the larger-than-life Brainiac Live! when it runs for a strictly limited four weeks at the Garrick Theatre from 31 July 2019.
