About the showAfter five years of entertaining audiences of all ages, the breath-taking Cirque Berserk arrives in London for a strictly limited run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Featuring a variety of jaw-dropping acts, the production celebrates the 250th anniversary of the invention of Circus, bringing the entertainment bang up-to-date for the 21st century.
Combining adrenaline-fuelled stunts with exquisite artistry, Cirque Berserk sees acts ranging from weapon-throwing to juggling, aerial acrobatics to tumbling and more. With a hugely talented group of performers who have been pooled from around the world, the stunning show features over thirty jugglers, acrobats, dancers, drummers, clowns and stunt-men.
Acts include the Timbuktu Tumblers, Bolas Argentinas, Odka, Tropicana Troupe, Jackie, Germaine Delbosq, Toni, Zula, Laci, Jose and Gaby, the Berserk Dancers and Aerial Ballet, Giant Robot, Tweedy and The Mustache Brothers. The Lucius Team also join the troupe, performing the deadly and legendary motorcycle ‘Globe of Death’.
Cirque Berserk was founded by Martin ‘Zippo’ Burton, who has produced the show ever since. The production is directed by Julius Green and Dede McGarrity and features set design by Sean Cavanagh, costume design by Dianne Kelly, lighting design by Mike Robertson and sound design by Matthew Bugg.
A high-octane performance that showcases the finest in traditional Circus skills, the spectacular Cirque Berserk plays a strictly limited season at the Harold Pinter Theatre as part of an extensive UK tour. The production plays at the London venue from April 19th to May 7th 2018.
