About the show

Please note: Jason Manford will not be performing on Friday 20th December 2019.

Comedy favourite Jason Manford brings a musical-loving detective to the West End as Curtains transfers to the Wyndham’s Theatre.

When theatre star Jessica Cranshaw is murdered mid-performance, detective Frank Cioffi is called in to catch the killer. As plot twists pile up and showtunes spring from thin air, will the show go on? A murder on the stage and a detective who loves a showtune… Curtains is a hilarious musical whodunnit from the creators of Cabaret.

Curtains comes to the Wyndham’s Theatre after touring the UK, with Jason Manford starring as Frank Cioffi. The comedian was last in the West End for Sweeney Todd opposite Michael Ball. He is joined by a cast including Carley Stenson, Nia Jermin and Andy Coxon.

The musical features a book by Rupert Holmes and music and lyrics by famous Broadway collaborators Fred Ebb and John Kander (Cabaret, Chicago). In the West End, Curtains is directed by Paul Foster, choreographed by Alistair David, and designed by David Woodhead.

With audience acclaim across the UK, Curtains ushers its way to the Wyndham’s Theatre for a limited season. Find out whodunnit – and hum along yourself - from 13 December 2019.

Who Should See It?

Fans of Jason Manford will love the comedian’s acting chops, on full display in Curtains. Anyone who enjoys modern farce company Mischief Theatre should also book tickets for this earlier example of the genre.
