About the show

Dreamboats and Petticoats is a swinging jukebox musical that will transport you away to the rock 'n' roll 1960s for the time of your life. Based on one of the biggest selling albums of the decade, the musical is penned by the creators of hit shows such as 'Goodnight Sweetheart' and 'Birds of a Feather' and features a brand new original story in London's West End. The show features a wealth of famous songs from Roy Orbison, The Shadows and Chuck Berry that will have you dancing in the aisles along with the hugely talented cast and live band. Over a million people have seen the show in London's West End and on tour, the the musical proves that rock and roll music is alive and kicking!

In 1961 the kids of the social club are excited to watch Norman and Bobby compete in a national song-writing contest, as well as trying to attract the attentions of sassy Sue. Bobby discovers that Laura has a hidden talent for playing the piano and decides to help him win the contest. Together they compose sweet music, and Bobby slowly begins to notice the girl behind the glasses. But unfortunately for Laura, Sue begins to notice Bobby...

The musical features a soundtrack of hit songs such as 'Da Do Ron Ron', 'Let's Twist Again', 'At the Hop' and 'Teenager in Love'.

Who Should See It?

The musical is aimed at anyone who enjoyed the album of the same name, or anyone who appreciates a good tune! The fun love story carefully connects an energetic score, delivered by fresh young cast along with a live onstage band. Anyone looking for a fun time will really enjoy this show!
