About the showAfter a hugely successful debut concert performance at the London Palladium, followed by a sold-out West End season, smash-hit cult musical Eugenius! returns to play another strictly limited season at Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s The Other Palace. Produced by Warwick Davis, Kevin Wood and George Wood, Eugenius! is a teenage love story set in a world of comic books and superheroes.
Written by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins, Eugenius! is the hilarious and touching tale of Eugene, a teenage boy whose dreams consist of superheroes and villains. Determined to create a Hollywood comic book movie, he enlists the help of his friends Janey and Feris.
But before this comic writing genius can embark on his journey, he must first discover the true meaning of growing up, by finding the hero within, saving the world from earthbound villains and maybe falling in love along the way! With an 80’s-inspired score, the musical includes tunes such as “Comic Book Kind of Love” and “Go Eugenius”.
Originally premiering at the London Palladium in 2016, British musical Eugenius! played a concert-style performance, featuring musical theatre stars including David Bedella, Amy Lennox and Summer Strallen. Casting for the new run at The Other Palace includes Rob Houchen as Eugene, Laura Baldwin as Janey, Daniel Buckley as Feris, Neil McDermott as Evil Lord Hector, Scott Paige as Theo, Alex Bourne as Lex, Simon Thomas as Tough Man and Emily Tierney as Super Hot Lady.

The production features design by Hannah Wolfe, sound design by Gareth Owen and lighting design by Andrew Ellis, with musical direction by Darren Lord and musical supervision by Stuart Morley.
