About the showWinter is coming… To the West End!
Following a hugely successful world tour, the critically acclaimed comedy Graeme of Thrones transfers to London’s Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited season. After impressing audiences across Chicago, Toronto, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, the hit Game of Thrones parody comes to entertain West End audiences.
Described as a must-see for any avid GoT fan, this sweeping theatrical journey takes audiences on a wild adventure through the Seven Kingdoms. Avid fan Graeme wants to recreate his favourite fantasy series on stage, but the trouble is, he doesn’t have the budget, the cast members or any performance skills. But George RR Martin would approve, and that’s all that matters.
That is, Graeme hears the news that an influential theatre producer has entered the building. Could this be his big break? Probably, providing nothing goes wrong…
A rollercoaster ride packed with superb comic timing, GoT gags and some low-budget props, Graeme of Thrones is an original, unauthorised parody created by some of the UK’s top comedy writers, including Toby Park, Andrew Doyle and Dan Evans.
Produced by Alex Jarrett and directed by Sam Bailey, the production features a cast including Ali Brice as Graeme, Libby Northedge as Bryony and Mark Davison as Paul. A huge treat for any of the HBO series’ dedicated fans, and a brilliant introduction for anyone who hasn’t seen it, Graeme of Thrones is the jaw-dropping comedy playing at the Charing Cross Theatre, from October 10th to November 11th 2017.
Who Should See It?Any fans of Game of Thrones will appreciate this hilarious parody, which has subsequently been banned from performing in Malaysia!
