About the show
Unlike any history lesson you've ever experienced at school, Horrible Histories returns to the West End after last years sell out success to delight children and adults alike. Following on from their previous success with Barmy Britain Part One, Barmy Britain Part Two digs even deeper into the historical characters we know and love. Based on the best selling children's book series, along with the BAFTA-award winning TV show, this is a brand new and unique take on the history of Britain, which will have even the most raucous children glued to their seats. The Horrible Histories team use laughter and song to recreate a colourful cast of characters that will each prove that history is far from being 'boring'. It describes itself as history "with the nasty bits left in", and will entertain parents, teachers and even grandparents alike. StarringĀ Neal Foster andĀ Alison Fitzjohn, they play a wide range of characters spanning Britain's history from William the Conqueror to Queen Victoria, and almost everyone in between.
"Can you beat battling Boudicca? Has William Wallace met his match? Can evil Elizabeth entertain England? Will King Charles keep his head? Would you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin? Escape the clutches of Burke and Hare and move to the groove with party Queen Victoria!"
The production is specifically designed with families and schools in mind.
