Like the rest of the tour, proceeds from Ian McKellen on Stage at the Harold Pinter Theatre will be donated to charitable causes in the theatre sector.
Ian McKellen is a star of stage and screen, with three Academy Award nominations and five Olivier Award wins to his name. His career spans blockbusters including The Lord of the Rings and X-Men, as well as Shakespeare on both stage and screen. He was most recently on the West End as a powerful King Lear at the Duke of York's Theatre in 2018.
