About the showFollowing two smash-hit tours in Australia, favourite doctor duo Dr Chris and Dr Xand arrive in West End for a limited festive season. Playing at the Apollo Theatre, Operation Ouch! Live on Stage brings the two-time BAFTA winning show to London audiences. Prepare for fun, facts and plenty of laughter with this medical marvel of a show!
Based on the hit BBC children’s show Operation Ouch!, the live on stage version is no less thrilling! Packed with awe-inspiring stunts, crazy experiments and hilarity, the doctors aim to explore the fascinating world of biology, showcasing some of their best television moments and the amazing things a human body can do!
What goes on inside Dr Xand’s head? Can germs and bugs be food for you? What could you do with a whole month’s worth of farts? How does sneezing work? What happens when you eat food? Answering every kid’s important questions, the pair produce a variety of experiments to entertain audiences – all in the name of science!
Chris and Xand van Tulleken are twin brothers, who created the show by combining TV tricks with the UK’s National Health Service. Both graduating from Oxford University in 2002, the duo went on to appear in Blizzard: Race to the Pole, Medicine Men and Medicine Men Go Wild, plus many more.
