About the show

Scrooge the Musical will return to the London Palladium once again for a limited season this Christmas. After numerous UK tours and a stint at the Palladium in 2005, this timeless show returns for a limited Christmas period for 2012/13. Veteran performer Tommy Steele will bring the show to life as Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future to help him find the true meaning and joy of the holidays.

It's Christmas Eve in Victorian London, and miser Ebenezer Scrooge rejects the joy of his loyal office worker Bob Cratchit who is excited for the holidays. As he sits alone by candlelight he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley, who warns him that he will be visited by three spirits; The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Throughout the evening he is shown how his life could be different and is forced to analyse the choices he has made. As Christmas day approaches, he sees the errors of his ways and rejoices, bringing happiness to the life of Bob Cratchit and his family.
