As he sits alone by candlelight he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley, who warns him that he will be visited by three spirits; The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Throughout the evening he is shown how his life could be different and is forced to analyse the choices he has made.
