About the show

All aboard! Jump on the ship destined for a great adventure as RGM Productions bring an enchanting stage adaptation of The Hunting of the Snark to the West End’s Vaudeville Theatre. Based on Lewis Carroll’s beloved poem, the brand new musical comedy is the perfect summer outing for the whole family.

From the creator of the magical Alice in Wonderland world comes the extraordinary tale of the Snark! Join the Boy, the Banker, the Butcher, the Baker, the Bellman and the knitting Beaver as they prepare to embark on a riotous journey to catch the mythical Snark.

Encounter the Jub Jub bird, the sly Bandersnatch and the naughty Boojum on the way, as the group try their best to hunt down the imaginary Snark. How can you catch a Snark? With soap? And can the Beaver escape the hungry Butcher’s clutches? Does the Baker even remember his name? Most importantly, does anyone even know what a Snark looks like?

Prepare to laugh yourself silly in this incredibly fun new stage play, written by Annabel Wigoder, who has had plays staged across London. The Hunting of the Snark is one of Lewis Carroll’s best known poems, and here receives a mesmerising stage adaptation featuring five energetic actors, life-size puppetry and songs by award-winning composer Gareth Cooper.

Cast members include Will Bryant as The Baker, Polly Smith as The Butcher, Simon Turner as The Banker, Jordan Leigh-Harris as The Boy and Ben Galpin as The Bellman.

Presented by the producers behind international smash-hit Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Hunting of the Snark is the side-splittingly funny story that is perfect for tiny theatregoers and adults alike! All silly people are welcome in this sparkling new show, playing at London’s Vaudeville Theatre from July 26th to September 2nd 2017.
