About the show
After a sell out West End run in 2012, along with a successful UK tour, The Ladykillers returns to the West End, this time to the Vaudeville Theatre. Graham Linehan's award winning adaptation is directed by Sean Foley. Linehan is best known for his work on comedies such as 'Father Ted', 'The I.T Crowd' and 'Black Books'. The show won the 2013 WhatsOnStage.com Award for Best New Play, along with 5 Olivier Award nominations, including Best New Play. This black comedy follows Professor Marcus and his gang of crooks as they pose as amateur musicians, renting rooms in the home of Mrs Wilberforce, an eccentric pensioner. As they plan their latest criminal activity, they plot to get her involved, but luckily she discovers their plan and with her trust parrot, attempts to shop them to the police.
This hilarious comedy broke records at the Gielgud Theatre in 2012 and makes a welcome return to the West End where it is expected to be just as popular. Don't miss the comedy event of the summer.
