About the showAfter a sensational initial run at the Almeida Theatre, Anne Washburn’s thrilling stage adaptation of The Twilight Zone transfers to the West End. Playing a strictly limited season at the Ambassadors Theatre, the production is based on the original hit CBS television show.
In a world where everything is part of the imagination, The Twilight Zone takes place between past and present, light and shadow, science and superstition, and in a place where fear and knowledge are only intangible feelings. This is the area called the Twilight Zone.
Original cast members return for the Ambassadors Theatre run, including Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Neil Haigh and Adrianna Bertola. They are joined by Matthew Steer, Lauren O'Neill, Dyfan Dwyfor, Dan Crossley, Nicholas Karimi, Natasha J Barnes and Alisha Bailey.
The Twilight Zone is adapted for the stage by Anne Washburn (Mr Burns) and is directed by Richard Jones, whose previous credits include Too Clever by Half and Into the Woods. The production features set design by Paul Steinberg, costume design by Nicky Gillibrand, movement direction by Aletta Collins, lighting design by Mimi Jordan Sherin and compositions and sound by Sarah Angliss.
An electrifying drama about socio-political commentary, mixed with sci-fi, The Twilight Zone is based on original stories by Rod Serling, Charles Beaumont and Richard Matheson. The show runs at the Ambassadors Theatre from 19 March 2019.
Who Should See It?Fans of the original acclaimed CBS television show will thoroughly enjoy this stage adaptation, which earned great reviews from audiences and critics alike.
The Twilight Zone is recommended for those aged 12+.
