About the show

The gorgeous world of Beatrix Potter is brought to life with puppets, songs, dancing and storytelling in children’s show Where is Peter Rabbit?. Based on Potter's original tales this is a show the whole family can cherish. The musical adventure hops into London's Theatre Royal Haymarket for a second run from 20 July 2019.

Meet cheeky Peter Rabbit himself and follow his adventures. Escape the wrath of Mr McGregor, sort out the laundry with Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and soar above it all with Jemima Puddle-Duck. The show features with 14 catchy songs, performed live, with lyrics by acclaimed playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn. The handcrafted, innovative puppetry brings a magical feel to these timeless stories and unforgettable characters.

Helping to tell the story via voiceover are a couple of narrators: Olivier Award-winning Griff Rhys Jones (Not the Nine O'Clock News, It'll be Alright on the Night) and BAFTA Award-winning Miriam Margoyles (Call the Midwife, the Harry Potter films).

The show is devised by Roger Glossop with direction and choreography by Sheila Carter. Music is courtesy of Steven Edis.
