When to Book Tickets

There is currently good availability for the show even if you're booking last minute. However, we recommend booking a few weeks ahead for the best choice of seats, especially if you’re hoping for weekend availability, which tends to sell out faster.

Shows on Mondays to Thursdays tend to be a bit cheaper than the popular Friday and Saturday performances, with price differences of up to 10% on various tickets - so if you can attend midweek, you’ll be able to save a bit of money. 

Top Tips For Your Visit

Shaftesbury Theatre is located close to Covent Garden and is easily accessible by tube via Tottenham Court Road and Holborn stations, each less than 10 minutes' walk away. The surrounding area is packed with cafes and restaurants perfect for pre-show dining.

Inside the theatre, the bars offer a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as sweet and savoury snacks. You’re welcome to take your own snacks into the theatre; however, hot food isn’t allowed inside the auditorium. 

Avenue Q merchandise is sold at the venue, so keep this in mind if your budget can stretch to a t-shirt, tote bag or mug!
