Fawlty Towers Ticket Prices
Check into Torquay’s most chaotic hotel as Fawlty Towers comes to life in a brand-new play in the West End. Written by John Cleese who originated the role of Basil in the hit TV series and featuring some of the sitcom’s most unforgettable scenes, theatregoers are in for a treat. The rib-tickling play is now at the Apollo Theatre until early 2025.
Ticket prices start as low as £15 and reach highs of £226 for premium seats. Prices are higher for weekend performances, as it’s typically the theatre’s peak visiting time. However, if you don’t mind booking in advance, you may be able to secure cheaper tickets.
Fawlty Towers Discount Tickets
Fawlty Towers might not always have offers available, although we recommend keeping your eyes on ticket prices as they can fluctuate throughout the production run. Some discounted tickets may become available if you book in advance or if the show is included in seasonal promotions such as London Theatre Week and New Year sales.
The best way to get good value tickets without discount is to choose where you sit. Websites like SeatPlan and Theatre Monkey will show you pictures and comments from real audience members to help you find the hidden gems. These sites are really useful when booking seats for shows.
When to Book Tickets
At the time of writing, availability for Fawlty Towers is good from a month out. For the widest choice of seats, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially if you’re hoping to book on a weekend or looking for seats within a specific budget.
Tickets for mid-week performances are up to 10% cheaper than those on a weekend. It’s good to bear in mind that this might not always be the case, especially around school and bank holidays as prices vary depending on demand.
Fawlty Towers has 8 performances per week. Afternoon performances are on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with a start time of 2.30 pm. Evening performances start at 7.30 pm and run Tuesday through to Saturday.
Top Tips For Your Visit
Apollo Theatre is only a short walk from Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square tube stations. As the theatre is located in the centre of London, there’s a huge variety of restaurants, bars, pubs and shops in the surrounding area.
The theatre has two bars, one in the Stalls and the other in the Upper Circle which both sell a selection of soft drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks. Snacks and drinks in plastic containers are allowed into the auditorium, however, hot food is prohibited. Located at the back of the Stalls bar is a mock-up of the hotel reception for an inspired photo opportunity - don't miss your chance at answering the Fawlty Towers' phone!
Doors open 45 minutes before the performance starts. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start time, to allow enough time for queues and bag checks. The running time of Fawlty Towers is 1 hour and 50 minutes, including 1 interval. It’s good to bear this in mind, especially when arranging travel home from the show.
