Hadestown Discount Tickets
There have not been any big offers for this show so far, although as its West End season continues we expect discounts to become more common. Many top musicals are included in promotions such as London Theatre Week, which has exclusive prices from £15 and £25, and Black Friday.
The best way to get cheap tickets to Hadestown without a discount is to check for affordable hidden gems on SeatPlan. This website has useful advice and photos of the view from real theatregoers, so you know what to expect when you book and won’t be surprised when you get to the theatre!
When To Book Tickets
There is currently good availability for performances a month in advance, although weekends have fewer cheap tickets left than on Monday - Thursdays. Like most West End shows, prices rise during peak periods like school holidays, so bear this in mind as you decide when to see Hadestown.
If you don’t mind waiting until the last minute for a deal, TodayTix has a Daily Lottery in which you can secure two £30 tickets. The lottery opens at 10am and closes four hours before the performance begins.
Another easy way to save money is to take advantage of dynamic pricing. Unsold tickets are sometimes reduced on the day of the performance, and we found a price difference of £20 (30%) on Stalls tickets compared to the same day a week later. Be aware however that this may apply to mid- and top- price tickets rather than the very cheapest, and you may want to try other methods first.
Top Tips For Your Visit
The Lyric Theatre is in the heart of the West End, and you can make a day of it by exploring the incredible sights and shops along Carnaby Street and in Covent Garden. If the show’s mythology inspires you, why not visit the free British Museum, ten minutes away on the bus or fifteen on foot!
Plastic drink bottles and small cold snacks such as sweets are allowed inside the venue if you want to save money on refreshments; West End bars are notoriously pricey. There is a cloakroom for smaller bags, and it costs £1 per item. For larger items, storage solutions such as Stasher are handy alternatives.
