About the show

West End fan-favourite Courtney Bowman (SIX, Everybody's Talking About Jamie) wis starring as Elle Woods in a fresh, modern production of Legally Blonde the Musical at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

This completely different take on the beloved musical is directed by Lucy Moss, co-creator of the global smash-hit SIX. The story, based on the book by Amanda Brown and the film adaptation starring Reese Witherspoon, follows sorority girl Elle Woods as she joins Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend and overcome the perception of her as a typical “dumb blonde”.

Other casting for this exciting revival includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay as Emmett, Lauren Drew as Brooke, Isaac Hesketh as Margot, Alžbeta Matyšáková as Enid. This production is notable for Hesketh and Matyšáková being the first Trans Non-Binary performers to play their respective roles.

The original Legally Blonde West End run played for three years and won three Olivier Awards in 2011. While this production will showcase a more diverse cast and a contemporary take on the source material, the fantastic tunes and feel-good story will still delight old and new fans alike.

Legally Blonde at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is set to be a joyful, important revival that is not to be missed. The show will only play for a limited season, so be sure to book tickets now!
