Oresteia Ticket Prices

Powerful Greek tragedy The Oresteia brings gripping drama to the Bridge Theatre this summer, in a radical reimagining by acclaimed director Simon Stone. For anyone wanting to see cutting-edge theatre meeting ancient texts, this is a must-see. The good news is that prices are also a bit cheaper than West End shows, too! Tickets are from £30-£150.

There are lots of ways to save a bit of money and find cheap tickets for The Oresteia, so keep reading for our top tips and insider hacks for seeing this show on any budget.

The Oresteia Discount Tickets

The show has already been on offer, with prices across a range of tickets cut by at least 18%. As opening night gets closer, we recommend keeping an eye out for even more discounts.

No sales? No problem - try websites like SeatPlan and Theatre Monkey to find great hidden gems. The Bridge Theatre is very modern and has lots of brilliant seats, so you'll be able to snap up a bargain. Check SeatPlan for photos of the view from seat - added by theatregoers like you - to help you decide which tickets to book.

When To Book Tickets

Availability is still very good for this show, so you don't need to book immediately. However, we do recommend booking a little in advance, especially as the cast is to be announced. If anyone super famous is attached, tickets will start to sell more quickly.

Busy periods like the summer holidays, when more tourists hit London, will tend to sell more quickly. Good news, however: prices are currently very similar on all days of the week, so you don't need to worry about paying extra at the weekend. This might change, so we always suggest comparing any dates you can attend for the best options.

Top Tips For Your Visit

The Bridge Theatre is located right next to Tower Bridge, and a 10 minute walk from London Bridge station. With great transport links both across London and nationally, the theatre is really well positioned for a day out.

Other attractions nearby include Borough Market (15 minutes away), great for street food, and the riverside, which has lots of historical points of interest, restaurants and bars.

The theatre foyer is free to enter and sit in through the day, with hot drinks and pastries often available to buy. On sunny days, the green space outside is fantastic to sit on and enjoy a picnic or snacks, with views of Tower Bridge and the city across the river.

You can bring small snacks and cold drinks into the venue, but be aware bag searches are in operation. The cloakroom is free to use, with handbags and reasonably sized backpacks accepted, subject to space.
