Olivier Award-nominated theatre company Tall Stories return to the West End with their magical stage show, Room on the Broom Live. Adapted from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s popular children’s book, the production plays a limited festive season at London’s Lyric Theatre.
Join the Witch and her cat, as they travel on their magical broomstick on an adventure to defeat a dragon! On their journey, they come across several fun hitch-hikers, including a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a crazy frog, who all pile onto the broomstick. But – SNAP! The broomstick breaks just as the hungry dragon appears!
A fun-filled story that is guaranteed to enchant tiny theatregoers, Room on the Broom Live is packed full of laughter, songs, interactive joy and scary fun. Featuring plenty of puppetry, the production is from the creators of the ever-successful The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child and promises to entertain.
Casting includes including Amy Harris as the Witch, Emma Crowley-Bennett as the Dog/Frog, David Garrud as Bird/Dragon and Connor Bloom as an understudy.
Room on the Broom Live is directed by Olivia Jacobs, and features design by Morgan Large, lighting design by James Whiteside and puppets by Yvonne Stone, with music and lyrics by Jon Fiber, Andy Shaw and Robin Price.
