Starlight Express Ticket Prices
Get your skates on for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary Starlight Express - the high-octane extravaganza of roller-skating, music and exhilarating storytelling. Housed in the custom-made Starlight Auditorium, the show has a range of tickets to suit all budgets, with prices ranging from £30 to almost £200.
The hype is huge for this unique production, and is selling well at full price. But don’t worry; if you want to save money and secure cheap tickets for Starlight Express, we have plenty of tips below.
Starlight Express Discount Tickets
Offers for Starlight Express have not been readily available so far, but this is set to be a long-running show and we expect to see it included in some of Theatreland’s top promotions. Make a note in your diary for London Theatre Week, Black Friday and the New Year Sales, when huge savings - sometimes over 50% - can be found for various plays and musicals.
If you can’t find a discount, compare the areas of the auditorium, which all offer different - but amazing - experiences. The venue has been custom-built for Starlight Express, so you should enjoy a decent view no matter where you sit. Once it opens, eager theatre fans will also begin to add reviews and photos across social media and on SeatPlan, so you can gauge which areas and prices you are happy to pay for.
When To Book Tickets
The first couple of months have sold very well for this musical so we advise booking ahead by a month or two to snap up the cheaper tickets. Weekends and school holidays are likely to sell quickly because this show has a wide appeal for all ages.
When we checked, a few price bands varied on Sundays, Thursday evenings and Saturday evenings, with small savings of around 5%. This may change as the show settles in, and we particularly recommend looking at midweek and Sunday performances for any price drops compared to popular Saturday afternoons.
Last-minute schemes have not been confirmed, but previous shows at Wembley Park Theatre have offered same-day Rush tickets for £25.
Top Tips For Your Visit
Wembley Park Theatre is outside central London but is very well-connected via the underground and overground services. Wembley Park is an exciting cultural hub, with lots of free outdoor exhibitions; Boxpark Wembley is also nearby and is a great place to enjoy a casual and fairly cheap dinner before a show.
The theatre has no car park, but visitors can use Wembley Park’s facilities. Wembley Stadium and the OVO Arena are close by, and on match days parking is more expensive and limited.
Refreshments at the bars can quickly add up but you can take your own soft drinks into the venue. The cloakroom charges £1 per item, so take small bags into the auditorium and store them under your seat instead.
