The magical musical adaptation of the beloved picture book returns to London’s West End for a limited run at the Lyric Theatre. The returning classic is ideal for a little one's first theatre trip as their favourite picture book is brought to life. 

Ticket prices start as low as £11.90, with the highest ticket price reaching £30. Prices for weekday and weekend performances are the same, however, we recommend booking in advance to secure cheaper tickets.

At the time of writing, tickets are priced the same across the whole run, however, this is subject to change. Sometimes tickets can fluctuate in price, especially around school and bank holidays as prices can vary depending on demand. 

The Gruffalo will be playing at the Lyric Theatre with performance dates and times varying. The earliest performance will start at 10.30 am with the latest performance starting at 4.30 pm.

Top Tips For Your Visit

The Lyric Theatre is located only a short walk from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus tube stations. As the theatre is in Central London, there’s a wide range of restaurants, pubs and shops in the surrounding areas. 

The venue has three bars, all serving soft drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks. Snacks and drinks in plastic containers are allowed into the auditorium, however, hot food is not permitted. 

Doors open 45 minutes before the performance start time. The Gruffalo runs for an hour with no interval.
