Nutcracker Discount Tickets
This magical ballet is only in London for a limited season every winter, so is not included in most of the West End’s big promotions such as London Theatre Week or Kids Week.
However, children under 5 can attend on the family-friendly performance date which is Saturday 4 January 2025 at 2.30pm. Prices are reduced for children at this performance, with information available at the box office.
Another way to save money on tickets is to check reviews on SeatPlan or Theatremonkey. SeatPlan has user-submitted photos of the view from many seats, with great tips on where to sit for less without missing the spectacle and beauty of the show.
When to Book Tickets
This very popular ballet sells well every year, and is a highlight of the season. It is best to book in advance, and we suggest you start checking availability across price bands in the summer to ensure you do not miss out. Weekend performances and those directly around Christmas tend to be most popular.
Tickets after the new year may be a bit cheaper, especially in the higher price bands. It is worth comparing dates if you can be flexible.
Top Tips For Your Visit
The London Coliseum is one of the West End’s most opulent and grand theatres, with its own shop selling memorabilia, and several bars; some shows have themed or specific menus of snacks and drinks. The theatre is also in a fantastic central location on St Martin’s Lane, within walking distance of several sit-down and on-the-go food outlets.
Water stations are available across all levels, and you are welcome to bring a refillable bottle. Hot food and drinks are not allowed from outside, but confectionary and cold drinks can be taken in.
The theatre is cashless for all payments, and there is no cloakroom. Luggage Hero and Stasher operate in the area if you need to store items.
