About the show

Who is that knocking at the door and interrupting Sophie's Tea? It's a large, stripy tiger! This stage adaptation of Judith Kerr's beloved picture book is back in the West End for a delightful afternoon of mayhem and hijinks.

The clumsy capers of Sophie's new feline friend will keep whole families on their toes as chaos ensues at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. This delightful kids' show is packed full of catchy songs, dazzling magic, colourful characters and hilarious jokes.

Sophie is played by Jennifer Addey and Mummy is played by Katie Tripp. James Carlisle plays the lovable Tiger along with several other characters. Director, David Wood OBE, is a highly successful writer and director of children's musicals including The Gingerbread Man, The Witches and Babe the Sheep Pig.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea is the perfect family day out as well as a wonderful introduction to the magic of live theatre for any young child.
