About the show
Something large and stripy is coming back to the West End this summer, as The Tiger Who Came to Tea prances into the Theatre Royal Haymarket for mayhem, mischief and a playful family day out.Sophie and her mummy are setting out the cups and plates for tea, when a surprise guest knocks at their door… a tea-guzzling, mischief-making tiger! Featuring songs, games, and plenty of engaging storytelling, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is a delightfully boisterous family show.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea is adapted from Judith Kerr’s picture book by David Wood, who also directs. The creative team includes assistant director and choreographer Emma Clayton (Aliens Love Underpants) and designer Susie Calcutt.
Introduce your family to a fantastically furry new friend: The Tiger Who Came to Tea at the Theatre Royal Haymarket is perfect for little ones and opens in July 2021.
