1. Tina Turner Musical Ticket Prices

Tina: The Tina Turner Musical is one of the most popular jukebox musicals in London, offering a flashy, thrilling insight into the life and career of a rock and roll icon. Ticket prices currently range at face value from £20 to over £175, with many tickets under £50 in the back section of the theatre.

The Tina musical is frequently included in seasonal offers and promotions, with some great last-minute and group prices available as well if you want to take your friends along for the experience.

Even without discounts, there are many ways to get the best value tickets, including knowing when to book and where to sit. Below, we've put together a full guide to making your money stretch at Tina the musical.

2. When to Book Tickets for the Tina Turner Musical

To get the best availability across every price band for Tina, book in advance. There are some good last-minute ways to buy as well but if you want to ensure you're booked in, buying tickets a few weeks before your visit is the best way to go.

Weekends and school holidays are peak periods, and performances during these times are usually more expensive than other times of the year. Tickets for off-peak performances will save you money, so where possible aim to book tickets for a weekday outside of busy periods.

Tina the musical is often featured in the West End's biggest seasonal promotions, such as London Theatre Week and the London theatre New Year Sale. Mark these down in your calendar and you could get some of the best prices all year. The last London Theatre Week ended on 13 March 2023, and Tina tickets were available from £15.

3. Last Minute Tina Turner Musical Tickets

Same-day discounts on Tina are sometimes available from TKTS either online or in person at the Leicester Square ticket booth. Returns or unsold tickets at the physical box office may also be reduced at the venue's discretion.

If you wait until the day of your preferred performance, you can also take advantage of dynamic pricing. This kicks in when tickets remain unsold at the last minute, and you can get a really good deal. For example, on the official website Stalls K1 is £45 for tomorrow evening's performance and at the time of writing, midweek in July 2023, is £80 for the same performance next week.

This is valid for top and mid-price tickets rather than the cheapest tickets. However, prices do not always drop, so it's best to double-check before booking.

Tina Turner Lottery Tickets

There is not currently a ticket lottery for the Tina Turner Musical in London, but a daily Tina Turner Musical Rush tickets scheme is hosted by TodayTix. Each morning at 10am, a limited number of £25 tickets for the same day are released on the TodayTix app. Seats are around the auditorium at the venue's discretion.

4. What Are the Best Tina Turner Musical Seats?

Like most musicals, the best seats for Tina: The Tina Turner Musical are in the middle of the Stalls and front rows of the Dress Circle. The Dress Circle in particular is great for an overview of the stage.

These seats are the most expensive in the venue, but there are plenty of cheaper, options that are worth their price tag.

Always check SeatPlan's interactive Aldwych Theatre seating plan when you book. Real theatregoers have uploaded hundreds of photos that show the view from seats across the venue.

Insider Tip: Tina is performed in the middle of the stage and the Dress Circle overhang doesn't cut much, if anything, off at the top. Seats at the back of the Stalls are therefore a good option if you want to be in this section without paying a premium.

Best Tina Turner Musical tickets under £50: There are plenty of cheaper Tina musical tickets across the auditorium for £50 or less including:

1. Stalls X3 (from £30). This seat is right at the back of the Stalls, but offers a good view of the stage. Some seats nearby aren't rated as well, however.

2. Dress Circle Box B4 (from £50). This seat is marked restricted view and offers a side-on view of the stage, but SeatPlan users rate it well.

3. Grand Circle D12 (from £40). In a section with mixed reviews, this seat promises a relatively clear view - the safety bar is just a small restriction - and extra legroom.

5. Cheap Tina Turner Musical Matinee Tickets

There are three Tina musical matinees each week, at 2.30pm on Thursdays and Saturdays and 3pm on Sundays. Evening performances begin at 7.30pm.

Midweek matinees are cheaper than weekend matinees, but the are not usually cheaper than weekday evening performances. There is some variation in pricing on weekend matinees, but this can seem random from the outside. For example, on one weekend in September 2023 Stalls H22 is £125 from the box office on a Saturday afternoon compared to £95 on the Sunday matinee:

We think it is worth checking both days if you have the entire weekend free because the price difference can be quite big.

7. About the Tina Turner Musical Venue

Tina: The Tina Turner Musical is currently playing at the Aldywch Theatre, which is just around the corner from Covent Garden and the Strand. It's in a great location for walking along the river before a show, or visiting a free museum or tourist attraction in central London.

Tina has a 20 minute interval, and you can buy snacks and drinks from the bar during this time. Hot food and drinks can't be taken into the theatre, but a plastic bottle of water from outside is fine. There are also plenty of small supermarkets in the area to stock up on refreshments which are cheaper than the theatre's own bar.
