1. TINA: The Tina Turner Musical Ticket Prices
Smash-hit rock ‘n’ roll star Tina Turner is known and loved globally by many fans. In this hit musical, created in collaboration with the celebrated musician, audiences can discover Tina’s journey to fame and be inspired to turn their poison into medicine. Due to the musician and the show's huge popularity, ticket prices can often be steep, sometimes reaching over £200 for the best seats.
There’s a handful of ways to grab the cheapest TINA tickets, including day seats and Rush tickets. Or, if you’re flexible with when you visit, booking tickets to mid-week performances can save some money. The musical is sometimes included in seasonal discounts, such as London Theatre Week, so keep your eyes out for any savings.
Not sure how to find a discount? No worries, we’ve pulled together a complete guide to making the most of your budget and getting cheap TINA: The Tina Turner Musical tickets below.
2. When to Book Tickets for TINA: The Tina Turner Musical
The musical typically has good availability a few weeks out, although it's best to keep in mind that cheaper-priced tickets sell out earlier. If you’re hoping to see the production during peak periods, such as weekends and bank holidays, we suggest booking a few months in advance to avoid disappointment.
Off-peak performances between Mondays and Thursdays are the best way to save money on tickets, so if you’re flexible with when you can visit the theatre, we recommend booking for mid-week dates.
You won’t always be able to find an offer for TINA, but it is sometimes included in seasonal promotions such as London Theatre Week and New Year’s Sales.
3. Last Minute TINA: The Tina Turner Musical Tickets
On the hunt for good-value last-minute tickets for TINA? We recommend heading to the TKTS booth in Leicester Square or checking their online listings for discounted same-day tickets. Or, check with the box office if you’re in the area.
Every day of a performance, TodayTix release a select amount of Rush tickets through their app. If you’re successful, you’ll be in with the chance of purchasing 1 or 2 tickets to the musical for £25. These seats are typically in the stalls, although this is subject to availability. You can set an alert on the app to be sure that you’re one of the first in line to purchase the limited first-come first-serve tickets.
Unsold tickets on the day of the performance may be discounted by the box office. At the time of writing, Dress Circle B11 for this afternoon's performance is £80, whereas the same seat for next week's Thursday matinee is £155. This is a huge saving of £75!
It’s good to keep in mind that this isn’t always the case, especially during peak visiting times such as weekends and bank holidays. So if you’re thinking of visiting during these busy times, we do recommend booking ahead to avoid any disappointment on the day.
4. Where to Sit at TINA: The Tina Turner Musical
The incredible musical is full to the brim of smash-hit songs, fantastic dancing and dazzling costumes, so you don’t want to miss any of the action. Some of the best seats are at the front of the Stalls and in the middle of the Dress Circle, however, these seats can be costly, reaching highs of £225.
Insider Tip: Check SeatPlan’s Aldwych Theatre seating plan when you book. Theatregoers have added their photos of the stage and ratings for seats across the auditorium to help you book.
If you can’t afford the premium seats at the Aldwych Theatre, why not consider booking some of these seats that have been rated 4 or 5 stars by SeatPlan users.
- Grand Circle K16 (from £20) is in the very back row of the theatre, with a spectacular view
- Dress Circle A27 (from £53.60) is a restricted view seat in the front row of the second tier. Legroom isn’t plentiful for this seat.
- Stalls U18 (from £30) is a slightly restricted view seat as there’s an overhang from the Dress Circle, but the action happens all on stage, so this doesn’t restrict too much
- Stalls A1 (from £45) is in the first row of the stage, with a fantastic up-close view of all the action
- Grand Circle A4 (from £40) is at the very front of the highest tier of the theatre and offers an ever so slightly restricted view
5. TINA: The Tina Turner Musical Cheap Matinee Tickets
The musical has two matinees per week, one on Thursday and the other on Saturday; both performances start at 2.30pm.
If you can, we recommend booking tickets to a Thursday matinee as these can be significantly cheaper than a Saturday afternoon show. At the time of writing, tickets for Stalls N11 on Thursday 25th April are £95, with the same seat on a Saturday afternoon a couple of days later costing £125. That’s a saving of 24%!

The production is currently playing at Aldwych Theatre on the Strand which is just a short walk from Covent Garden and Charing Cross tube station. This makes the theatre reasonably accessible from most areas in London.
Covent Garden and Leicester Square aren’t too far away, meaning there’s a great selection of shops, entertainment and eateries in the surrounding area. You can find most restaurants from casual dining to high-end dining, there’s something for everyone.
Three bars in the theatre serve alcoholic and soft drinks and sweet and savoury snacks. It’s good to keep in mind that the theatre does not permit any hot food from outside of the venue.
There’s a cloakroom in the theatre that can be used for a small fee. This is typically for items that don’t fit under your seat, like large backpacks.
Doors will open 45 minutes before the show begins, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time if you want to grab a drink or two and nip to the loo before the show starts. TINA runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes with one interval. It’s a good idea to bear this in mind when planning your journey home from the theatre.
