Dance Like Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson is primarily a singer, but it is his incredible and characteristic dance moves that many people associate him with – a quick crotch-grab or leg-kick on the television can make you automatically think of him. A brilliant dancer Michael was, inspiring many artists from Beyoncé to Bieber, but would you like to learn the iconic moves and dance routines yourself?
There is great news for those looking to emulate the dance moves from videos such as Smooth Criminal, Beat It and Remember the Time, as co-choreographer of Thriller Live, Anthony King, currently runs Michael Jackson dance classes at Pineapple Studios in London! Each class is an hour long on selected days of the week which you can view on the Pineapple site.
Incorporating moves such as the moonwalk and other slides, spins and gestures into the classic dance routines seen in Michael Jackson’s videos, Anthony King’s classes are for all abilities. If you have seen Thriller Live and are itching to try out the moves yourself, then pop along to the studios in Covent Garden where Anthony will teach you everything you need to know to be able to move like the King of Pop!
Whether you’re already a pro and have been practising the moves for years, or if you are a beginner and would just like to try it out, it is a great thing to be a part of and is fun and friendly – plus you get to listen to MJ’s music blasting out in the studio!
